What mobile humans we’ve become
Not stuck now in one place
So free to travel randomly
Like a nomadic race
But how has this affected us?
Social mobility?
Have we in fact lost sight of roots
Our own identity?
Or are we more gregarious
More open to just choose
The place we like the best, perhaps
Where work we may peruse
Or maybe find a climate or
A better welcome mat
That makes us think “Yes! This is home”
“The place I lay my hat”
